Trump’s COVID diagnosis is ‘a significant national security crisis,’ analyst says


NBC national security analyst Jeremy Bash tells TODAY that if President Trump is incapacitated by COVID-19, his duties would be assumed by Vice President Mike Pence, something that has happened only three times in recent history. He says he is also concerned that America’s adversaries could stage a “provocative military event” during a time of perceived weakness in U.S. leadership.
