Trump revokes former CIA Director Brennan’s security clearance
In an announcement blindsiding the intelligence community, President Trump has decided to revoke the security clearance of former CIA Director John Brennan. In a statement delivered by White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the president accused Brennan of putting the nation’s classified information at risk by abusing his access. The White House is also reviewing clearances for other current and former officials. NBC’s Kristen Welker reports for TODAY.
