Trump: ‘Market would crash’ if I were impeached

President Trump appeared on Fox News Thursday morning following the convictions of ex-attorney Michael Cohen and former campaign manager Paul Manafort. Cohen implicated Trump in his guilty plea, claiming Trump, then-presidential candidate, directed Cohen to pay hush money to two women alleging affairs with Trump. With reporters now asking lawmakers on Capitol Hill about talk of impeachment, the president was asked on Fox News to weigh in. “I don’t know how you can impeach somebody who’s done a great job,” he said. “If I ever got impeached, the market would crash. I think everybody would be very poor.”
