Trump invites Putin to White House for second summit this fall
President Trump, under fire this week for his handling of his first summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin, has invited the Russian leader to the White House this fall for a second summit. A senior Trump administration official told NBC’s Kristen Welker that the second meeting will address national security concerns, including an end to Russian meddling and nuclear proliferation.
