Trump distances himself from Russia in new radio interview

02:48

In an impromptu radio interview Friday with Fox News host Sean Hannity, President Donald Trump attempted to distance himself from Russia, the same day Russian President Vladimir Putin suggested a meeting with Trump in Moscow. “Russia is not happy about what I did,” Trump told Hannity, referring to the friction he caused with NATO leaders earlier this year by demanding they boost defense spending. NBC’s Kelly O’Donnell reports for TODAY.
