Trump blasts anonymous New York Times ‘resistance’ op-ed
President Trump has lashed out after the New York Times published an anonymous op-ed from a source described as a senior official inside his own administration. The author detailed a “quiet resistance” of appointees who work for the president, arguing his actions are “detrimental to the health of our republic.” In a series of tweets, Trump simply wrote “Treason?” and called the piece a “gutless” editorial. NBC national correspondent Peter Alexander reports for TODAY.
