Tracking Hurricane Florence: Storm officially makes landfall
Hurricane Florence, now a Category 1 storm and stretching nearly 600 miles from tip to tip, officially made landfall in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina at 7:15 a.m. ET. Catastrophic rain and flooding are expected to continue in the state. TODAY’s Al Roker is tracking the storm from Studio 1A.
