Parents risking kids’ lives by forgetting to buckle seat belts
Police say many parents put their children’s lives at risk when they do not put their kids in seat belts because they are in a rush. Car crashes are a leading cause of death for children, and Congress passed legislation requiring seat belt alarms in the backseat of vehicles in an attempt to stop this growing problem. NBC national investigative correspondent Jeff Rossen reports.
