Tiny pet turtles carry big health risk: Salmonella

Researchers say there have been eight large outbreaks of Salmonella in recent years, and most of the cases involved young children who had handled tiny turtles. There's a federal ban on selling turtles less than 4-inches long, but there is still a market for them.Dec. 23, 2015
