This video gamer admits his habit nearly drove him to suicide
Megyn Kelly sits down with Charlie Bracke, who says he sometimes spent more than 12 hours a day playing video games. The Entertainment Software Association provided this statement: "The American Psychiatric Association and the American Medical Association studied this issue extensively and decided against creating a new category for video games. Legitimate science, objective research, and common sense all prove video games are not addictive. By misusing the word addiction, which is a medical term, society demeans real compulsive behaviors, like alcoholism and drug abuse, which deserve treatment, compassion, and care."
