This happily married couple is considering divorce to afford disabled child’s health care
Jake and Maria Grey, a happily married Texas couple, say they are considering divorce so they can qualify for Medicaid to help with the spiraling medical costs for their daughter, who suffers from a genetic disorder. Jake, a veteran of the U.S. army, makes $40,000, which is too high to qualify for Medicaid. NBC’s Gadi Schwartz has more on the couple’s heartbreaking dilemma.
