Tampa spared storm surge, has minimal damage from Irma
In Tampa for TODAY, correspondent Jeff Rossen reports that the city was spared a much-feared storm surge from Hurricane Irma and damage there is minimal. He points to the city’s low bridges and says that that if the storm had hit a different way, much of the city would be underwater now.
