Sudden hot weather linked to early birth labor in new study

A study in the journal Nature Climate Change found a spike in births on days when the temperature was above 90 degrees in areas where such heat is not typical. The researchers concluded that sudden hot weather may be responsible for as many as 25,000 early births in the U.S. each year.Dec. 3, 2019
