Researchers at Emory University studied the emotions of hundreds of patients before they underwent a procedure such as angioplasty. They found patients who were nervous or irritable had almost twice the risk of complications, such as blood pressure problems or bleeding after the procedure, as those who had a more positive outlook.Dec. 3, 2015
