Storm surges, rain from Hurricane Matthew threaten Florida, Georgia coasts

The eye of Hurricane Matthew remains offshore as it makes it ways toward Daytona and Georgia. TODAY’s Al Roker forecasts that the storm is expected to hook back toward the Bahamas as a tropical storm. East of Central Florida could see 4 to 6 feet of storm surge, but Savannah, Georgia, could see 7 to 11 feet.
