Starbucks joined a growing list of businesses and cities announcing plans to eliminate plastic, single-use straws. All of the coffee chain’s locations will make the switch by 2020, and the company predicts this change will eliminate more than 1 billion plastic straws per year, NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.
