Shaun White: I’m sorry I referred to sexual harassment allegation as ‘gossip’
Speaking with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie live in Pyeongchang, snowboarder Shaun White apologizes for dismissing allegations of sexual harassment by his former bandmate Lena Zawaideh as “gossip.” White reached an undisclosed settlement with Zawaideh earlier this month. Now he tells Guthrie that “gossip” was “a poor choice of words to describe such a sensitive subject” and adds that he is “a much more changed person than I was when I was younger.”
