Sgt. Richard Aronson, WWII vet and bricklayer, dies at 94 of coronavirus

During World War II, Richard “Dick” Aronson served in the military with Armed Forces Radio after enlisting in the Army as a teenager. After the war, he returned to Philadelphia, earned his degree in mechanical engineering and eventually became president of the Employing Bricklayers Association. He died last month at age 94 from the coronavirus. Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well-lived.
