Marking the 100th anniversary of women getting the right to vote through the 19th Amendment, NBC’s Morgan Radford is live in New York’s Central Park for the official unveiling of the first statue of real women there, portraying women’s suffrage activists Susan B. Anthony, Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Sojourner Truth. Brenda Berkman of Monumental Women, the organization that made it possible, calls it “a dream come true.” Renée Elise Goldsberry of the original cast of Broadway’s “Hamilton” recites words and anthems of the women’s suffrage movement.
