Risky rescue effort ahead for boys soccer team found alive in Thailand
All 12 missing youth soccer team players and their coach were found alive Monday after being trapped in a flooded cave system in Thailand for 10 days. The boys, ranging from ages 11 to 16, were still wearing their soccer gear when found. But now, a risky rescue effort is ahead, as experts say it could be weeks – if not months – until they can retrieve the team safely. NBC’s Janis Mackey Frayer reports for TODAY from Thailand.
