It’s one of the internet’s most iconic memes: Being tricked into clicking on a link that leads unexpectedly to the music video for Rick Astley’s 1987 hit “Never Gonna Give You Up,” also known as getting rickrolled. It’s even happened to the singer himself, who admits on TODAY that one of his best friends has rickrolled him many times.
