Rep. Chris Collins plans to fight insider trading allegations, continue re-election bid
Federal prosecutors charged Rep. Chris Collins, R-N.Y., with insider trading on Wednesday, alleging the congressman schemed with his son to avoid significant losses on an investment with the Australian biotechnology company, Innate Immunotherapeutics. Collins responded to the charges, saying he plans to fight to clear his name. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk reports for TODAY.
