Actor Pierce Brosnan first made his mark in the TV series “Remington Steele,” and now he’s returning to television in “The Son,” based on Philipp Meyer’s novel about a Texas oil dynasty. The Irish-born actor tells TODAY’s Matt Lauer that he listened to Willie Nelson and Rick Perry to master his Texas accent for the series.
