As coronavirus antibody tests become more available to the general public, Dr. Scott Gottlieb, former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration, tells TODAY: “I don’t think individuals should rely on the results” because “tests on the market now are very variable in quality.” He warns that the tests have “high false positive results” and could make people think are safe from the virus when they are not.April 29, 2020
