Only 1 Black person selected for jury in Ahmaud Arbery case

Despite objections by prosecutors in the Ahmaud Arbery case, a judge ruled yesterday that he’ll seat one Black juror and 11 white jurors. The judge acknowledged that there appears to be intentional discrimination by attorneys for the three white defendants accused of killing Arbery, who was Black, but said he was limited in his ability to intervene.
