In an exclusive interview with TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman discusses the recording of a phone call she says she received from the president, as well as a recording of White House chief of staff John Kelly firing her. Newman said she recorded the conversations to “protect” herself, telling Savannah that “there are a lot of corrupt things going on in the White House.” She also says there are is a 3-minute audio tape of Trump using the N-word when referring to African Americans during the course of “The Apprentice.”Aug. 13, 2018
