Ohio police officer forced to auction off longtime K-9 partner


A retired police officer from Marietta, Ohio may lose his canine best friend after years of working together. Officer Matthew Hickey tried to compensate the state for the dog, but he learned the canine is considered property and will be auctioned off. NBC’s Sarah Dallof reports for TODAY.
