NY hospitals face growing crisis as coronavirus deaths in US reach 1200


The United States now has 85,000 coronavirus cases, the most in the world, with at least 1,200 deaths blamed on the virus. In New York, the toll on doctors and nurses is growing each day, and the lack of ventilators is the main problem. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY from Elmhurst Hospital, one of many in New York that’s overwhelmed.
