New Alzheimer’s treatment ‘is giving families hope,’ doctor says


Commenting on the FDA’s approval of a new medication for Alzheimer’s, NBC senior medical correspondent Dr. John Torres tells TODAY that “one of the big reasons that they went ahead and approved it” despite debate over its effectiveness is because “it is giving families hope … and it’s opening the door to more research.”
