Navy SEAL faces investigation, accused of taking Osama bin Laden photo


Not long after the infamous raid that left Osama bin Laden dead, a top Pentagon official ordered all photos of the body destroyed or turned over amid concerns that the images might be used as anti-U.S. propaganda. But now a new report says there may have been at least one photo still out there, until recently. An article in "The Intercept” alleges that former SEAL Team 6 member Matthew Bissonnette kept an image of Bin Laden's remains. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk reports for TODAY.
