NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. can’t wait to ‘be normal’ after retirement

Dale Earnhardt Jr. announced earlier this year that he’s retiring from racing after the 2017 season. He tells Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist that he’s looking forward to spending more time with his family. The two got together at Talladega Superspeedway for this week’s Sunday Sitdown, during which the NASCAR superstar discussed his father, who died after a racing accident in 2001, and how Earnhardt Jr.’s life has changed since he met his now-wife, Amy. The popular driver also takes Willie for a fast spin around the racetrack.Oct.22.2017
