MoviePass announces price hike, limited movie access
After a rocky several days involving digital outages and additional fees to see summer blockbusters, MoviePass has announced a 50 percent rate hike – taking the monthly subscription cost to $14.95 – plus, a much more limited choice of films. Now, frustrated customers are wondering if the service is worth the headache, as some turn to AMC’s recently released subscription service. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.
