Reigning Miss America Cara Mund, who recently spoke out in an open letter about being mistreated by the pageant organization’s leadership, joins TODAY ahead of the Miss America 2019 event this weekend. Mund said she experienced “challenges that none of my sisters had had,” and she also hopes to “make it better for the next girl.” She added, “I do think with the lack of confidence, there does need to be a leadership change, and I think it comes from more than one individual.”
