Minneapolis police chief speaks out about George Floyd and reforms


Medaria Arradondo, chief of the Minneapolis Police Department, is speaking out for the first time since a majority of the city council agreed to dismantle the department. NBC News has learned that Derek Chauvin, the officer at the center of the George Floyd case, was negotiating a plea deal before his arrest. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
