A federal jury has convicted Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who represented adult film star Stormy Daniels against President Trump, of trying to extort up to $25 million from sportswear company Nike. He was accused of trying to shake down Nike by claiming he had evidence the company bribed amateur basketball players.Feb. 15, 2020
