Mendocino Complex fire now largest in California history

Heat waves are continuing to scorch much of the U.S. with millions facing record-setting temperatures and high humidity. A mind-boggling 283,000 acres have now gone up in smoke in the Mendocino Complex fire in California. The area now burning is bigger than New York City and Philadelphia combined. NBC national correspondent Miguel Almaguer and TODAY's Al Roker report.
