Rehan Staton took a job as a garbage collector to pay to attend the University of Maryland. Now the 24-year-old is headed to Harvard Law School. From his home, he tells TODAY that “watching my father work one to three jobs” to support his family after their mother left, “I just really wanted to succeed.”
