Meet the family behind the 2015 Rockefeller Center Christmas tree


A magnificent Norway spruce arrives Friday morning at Rockefeller Center, soon to take its place as an icon of Christmas in New York City. It came from just 80 miles away in Gardiner, New York, where for the past 60 years it’s been the literal family tree of a remarkable clan. TODAY national correspondent Craig Melvin pays a visit to the Asendorf family to learn the story behind this year’s tree.
