One of the highest glass ceilings in sports has been shattered: Kim Ng was hired as the general manager of the Miami Marlins, becoming not only the first woman to run a baseball team, but also the first Asian-American. NBC’s Kathy Park reports for TODAY and Ng tells TODAY “I was in utter disbelief” when she learned she’d gotten the job: “It had been so many years in the making, and it was finally here.”
