Medical students are getting a fast track to the front lines during the coronavirus pandemic


During the coronavirus pandemic, hospitals are in need of reinforcements to staff emergency rooms and ICUs often filled with COVID-19 patients. For many medical students, that means getting their diploma, skipping residencies and heading straight to the front lines. NBC’s Stephanie Gosk has this week’s Sunday Spotlight.
