Massachusetts officer discusses saving neighbors as his home burned
Ivan Soto, an officer with the Lawrence Police Department in Massachusetts, joins TODAY to talk about his experience helping residents evacuate in the midst of dozens of gas explosions that rocked his community, all while his own home was burning. “It was really emotional,” Sotto said, adding: “I didn’t care about the house, I just wanted to make sure my daughter was OK and my neighbors were out of their houses.”
