Mark Halperin, managing editor of Bloomberg Politics, tells TODAY that the type of ranting that Donald Trump is engaging in is unprecedented in his experience, and that the Clinton campaign’s current strategy against him is to “make him the face of the Republican Party.” He says that Trump’s leading the field is “a nightmare for the Republican party” and “not the image the Republican party wants to have.” He also says that Trump versus Sen. Ted Cruz, currently trailing only Trump in polls, “will be an interesting fight.”
