Major League Baseball reclassifies Negro Leagues as major league

Major League Baseball announced Wednesday that it is “elevating” the Negro Leagues in status. That means the statistics of great players who were segregated out of the Majors will now count just the same as the traditional big leagues. TODAY’s Craig Melvin reports.Dec. 17, 2020
