Louisiana’s lieutenant governor talks about recovery from Ida


Billy Nungesser, lieutenant governor of Louisiana, joins TODAY to talk about the state’s response to Ida. He says that he expects the death toll to rise because “too many people ride these storms out and take their life in their own hands.” He says that some areas will take weeks to have power restored: “We’ve got a long road ahead of us.”
