Long-lost USS Indianapolis wreckage found by Microsoft co-founder’s crew


In 1945, the USS Indianapolis was sunk by Japanese torpedoes during World War II, throwing its crew into shark-infested waters. Lost at the bottom of the ocean for more than 70 years, it has now been found by a crew led by Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen. NBC’s Joe Fryer reports for TODAY.
