Little Rock Nine member looks back at integrating white high school in 1957
In 1957, a group of teens, the Little Rock Nine, integrated a white high school in Little Rock, Arkansas. Now Megyn Kelly welcomes one of them, author Melba Pattillo Beals, who says she did not anticipate the physical danger and death threats that would ensue when she volunteered: “I didn’t understand what people would do to avoid sitting by me.”
