Lion Air plane crash: Jet had damaged gauge on previous flights
Transportation officials say the Boeing 737 that crashed in the sea off Jakarta, Indonesia, experienced a problem with its airspeed indicator, the gauge that measures how fast a plane is flying. Officials say the plane’s black box revealed a similar problem on each of its last four flights, TODAY’s Savannah Guthrie reports.
