Life well lived: Norman Dyhrenfurth, who led first US climbers atop Everest, dies at 99

Mountaineer Norman Dyhrenfurth died this week in Austria at the age of 99. He made history in 1963 for leading the first group of American climbers to the summit of Mount Everest, though he himself did not make it to the top.
