Las Vegas trauma center is treating dozens wounded in shooting
Danita Cohen, who is with the University Medical Center in Las Vegas where some of the people wounded in the deadly mass shooting are admitted, tells TODAY that 104 patients are being treated, including more than 30 in the trauma center: “We’ve been extremely busy” treating mostly gunshot wounds, she says. “We’ve had four patients who have passed away so far,” she reports, but adds that many other patients have been discharged after treatment.
