Judge orders plane carrying deported mother and child to turn around

When a U.S. district judge heard the government had deported an immigrant mother and daughter who are plaintiffs in a lawsuit the judge was hearing over asylum restrictions, he demanded the Trump administration turn the Central America-bound plane around and bring them back to the U.S. It’s a challenge to Attorney General Jeff Sessions, who in June declared that fleeing domestic or gang violence will no longer be considered grounds for asylum.
